Alice in Wonderland smashes 3D film record.

Alice in Wonderland has entered the UK and Ireland box office at number one beating Avatar in its first weekend. The cost of making the movie in 3D was £8.3 million. Alice in Wonderland has become the most successful movie ever, after taking £76.8m in North America after it opened there. The movie was directed by Tim Burton and it stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen, Alan Rickman and Mia Wasikowska as Alice. It’s the film that everyone is buzzing about.
