Message From the Head
Andrew Hutchinson - Head Teacher
Our college is, first and foremost, a place of learning and achievement. It has as its priority the development of every child to reach their full potential so that each achieves the best possible qualifications and, therefore, has the widest possible range of opportunities and choices in life. Quite simply, our central aim is to continue to raise student achievement.
We believe that all children can progress in an atmosphere of high expectations with the right blend of support and challenge. We want our students to leave college valuing education, seeking to make a positive contribution to the community and set on a lifetime path of high achievement. Whilst academic success is at the heart of our work, we also want to see students involved in the wider life of the college and taking advantage of the extensive range of cultural, sporting and social opportunities offered.
Alec Hunter Humanities College is committed to providing an education that enables students to realise our motto “Committed to individual achievement ". The college encourages and expects all students to achieve their best. The breadth and flexibility of our curriculum means that we can promote the highest possible range and level of achievement.
Yours faithfully,
