ECO Crew

 What we do

We meet every Tuesday after school for an hour. What we have been doing so far is cleaning the garden and planning what equipment we need.

We have made bird feeders and bird boxes we have also made bags to be used for the school, made out of newspapers. We also are in charge of recycling and making sure it all goes into the right bins. We used to do the recycling everyday in tutorial but as we have been busy with the garden the other years do recycling now.

The Garden

This is our garden in memory of Mrs Morgan who was a teacher here at Alec Hunter. We had a big part in the design of this garden. Our responsibility is to keep the garden looking nice and litter and weed free. We will also be planting food and plants in some of the patches we will be doing this next summer which will be for the school kitchen to use. Then the other patches will be given to the public to us
